Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Woo Checkout Pro ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, customer dashboard, and WooCommerce plugin licensing services.
1. Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and optional profile fields you provide.
Payment information: transactions are processed by Razorpay. We store payment status, amounts, and Razorpay order/payment identifiers — not full card numbers.
License & usage: license keys, activated store URL (for single-site binding), and verification timestamps.
Support: ticket messages and metadata you submit through our support system.
Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and cookies/session tokens for authentication.
2. How we use information
We use your data to:
- Create and manage your account
- Deliver licenses, plugin downloads, and updates
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Provide customer support
- Send service-related emails (e.g. password reset, purchase confirmation)
- Improve security and reliability of the Service
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-party services
We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| MongoDB Atlas | Database hosting (account, licenses, tickets) |
| Razorpay | Payment processing |
| Optional Google sign-in (OAuth) | |
| Email (SMTP) | Transactional and support notifications |
| Hosting (e.g. Vercel) | Application hosting |
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We share only what is necessary for their function.
4. Cookies & sessions
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember preferences (e.g. theme). You can control cookies in your browser; some features may not work if cookies are disabled.
5. Data retention
We retain account and license data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and support obligations. You may request account deletion by contacting support; some records may be retained where required by law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS, hashed passwords, and restricted access to production systems. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
11. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact us through the support options in your account or our website contact channels.
